PhpStorm plugin Installation Guide

• The Atwix Magento 2 Support plugin is distributed at PhpStorm Marketplace. It can be downloaded directly from the Marketplace or installed directly from the PhpStorm through the standard plugin installation functionality.

  As a first step open the PhpStorm "Preferences" section and navigate to the "Plugins".
  
• In the "Plugins" section at the "Marketplace" tab, use the search field and type "Adobe Commerce" and press the "Install" button.
  
  After the plugin is installed, the "Restart IDE" button should appear. Press it and then press the "Restart" button in the appeared pop-up.
  
  After the PhpStorm is restarted you need to configure and activate the plugin for the currently open project. To do this you need to open the setting page by the following path: Settings > Preferences > PHP > Magento 2 Support.
  
• At the setting page choose “Enable Magneto 2 Support?” to activate access to the project Installation path.
  
• In the “Installation path” choose the root directory of your project. The version of your project in case of correct selection of the path on the previous step is successful the "Version" field should show it.
  
• Press Apply and wait for the plugin to reindex.
• In case you need to refresh indexes manually you should press Reindex button.
• The plugin is successfully installed.
